| Abstrak |
Fluoride is a trace element, based on its fucnction in denstistry as a caries prevention which shows a significant effect, but overuses this element might cause a fluorosis. Fluorosis is a tooth enamel hipomineralization which occurs on the process of tooth formation. Clinically fluorosis is shown with a various cosmetic changes from a white spot until a sever one. In Indonesia, there are still a lot of tooth problems, and one of them is fluorosis. Many research about caries has already benn done, adn one of them is in Mangar village, Madura, which also showed an exsistancy of fluorosis, but has not been researched.
