Tugas Akhir Pengaruh Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Terhadap Status Harga Diri Pasien Kusta di RS Kusta Kediri
Abstrak ABSTRACT The Effect of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) on Self-Esteem on Leprosy Patients at Leprosy Hospital Kediri Leprosy is one of the communicable diseases that give a very big stigma in society leading to problems of leprosy patients on self-esteem. Effect of Cognitive Behavior Therapy to change the status of self-worth Leprosy patients in the hospital still needs to be investigated. This study aims to determine the effect of CBT on self-esteem changes in the status of leprosy patients. This study used design research group pre-post test design. The population of leprosy patients who undergo outpatient treatment at hospitals that meet the criteria Leprosy Kediri. The independent variables were intervention Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and the dependent variable is the status of leprosy patients self esteem. Data will be analyzed using Mc Nemar statistical tests. The results showed that the factors that affect self-esteem in patients with leprosy were age, duration of illness, knowledge, symptoms, occupation, family support, and the environment. With P = 0. 063 These results indicate no significant effect between the status of self-esteem respondents before and after CBT. Low self-esteem can potentially trigger a reaction in patients with leprosy and destruction on themselves so that necessary efforts to enhance self-esteem leprosy patients.
