UNAIR NEWS - The Faculty of Nursing Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) held another nursing oath ceremony on Tuesday (12/09/2023). Attended by 97 nurses, the event was held in Ternate ASEEC Building, Campus B UNAIR.

"With gratitude, we inaugurated 97 nurses with details of 84 new nurses, and 13 Medical-Surgical Specialists," said vice dean 1 of the Faculty, Dr. Ika Yuni Widyawati, S Kep Ns M Kep Sp Kep MB, when delivering the inauguration report.

Following the speech, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Madyan SE M Si M Fin, representing UNAIR Rector, said he emphasized that all Ners are always dedicated and uphold the code of ethics. He continued, the complexity and challenges of health services require high scientific discipline and professional resources who are willing to serve.

"Prioritize humanity, not money," he said.

The message was supported by the hope of the chairman of the UNAIR student family alumni association, Dr M Hasinuddin S Kep M Kep. He hoped that all Ners could emphasize ethics and morals in providing nursing care and helping others with humanitarian duties.

"Be excellent Ners and Ners Specialists with morality who always provide the best service without distinguishing religion, ethnicity, race, and class," he said.

The Dean of the Faculty of Nursing (FKp) UNAIR, Prof. Dr. Ah Yusuf S Kp M Kes also advised all Ners to contribute to the alumni family association. In addition to developing the nursing profession, he hopes that all Ners can carry out their profession and develop businesses according to their respective skills.

"Don't forget to always connect with the alumni tracer because it is a form of real contribution that you can make," he explained.

Ners Representative Message

The education process is not easy for everyone. It becomes a story of lessons from the process of achieving success. Like, Andi Kriistyan S Kep Ns M Kep Sp Kep Mb when delivering a speech. Andi advised all Ners to always make this historic momentum (inauguration of the Ners oath), as a form of carrying out new mandates and responsibilities.

"Friends, let's realize nurses who are independent, innovative, leading, pioneers in the development of caring and advance care based on innovation and leadership, according to the learning we have taken so far," he concluded.
