DPKKA UNAIR successfully held the Airlangga Career, Entrepreneurship, And Scholarship Fair (ACESFA) 2023. The event was held for two days on (17-18/10/2023) at Airlangga Convention Center, Merr-C Campus, Universitas Airlangga.

The ACESFA activity by the Directorate of Career Development, Entrepreneurship Incubation, and Alumni of UNAIR has been held twice this year. After being successfully held in March 2023, the activity again presents several large companies from BUMN to foreign scholarship providers such as the Education Fund Management Institution (LPDP).

Opening Career Opportunities

Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nasih SE MT Ak, the Rector of Universitas Airlangga, also opened the 38th ACESFA 2023 on the first day. Prof. Nasih then said that this ACESFA event is an activity that needs to exist every year because it can provide benefits for graduates who are looking for job vacancies or scholarship opportunities abroad.

"With this ACESFA event, I hope career opportunities will be more open for UNAIR students. It is UNAIR's responsibility as an institution to provide information for students so they can have a better career in the future, "explained Prof. Nasih.

Furthermore, remarks from company representatives by Lukitarini as Head of Talent Acquisition of PT Pegadaian. Lukitarini expressed her gratitude and hope that PT Pegadaian and UNAIR can cooperate. "Hopefully, this event can be carried out better in the future and become a means to continue working with Universitas Airlangga," Lukitarini added.

Informative & Helpful Career Exchange

In organizing the 38th ACESFA, dozens of companies and foreign scholarship providers opened tenants to promote and provide information related to job vacancies or scholarships. Not only that, there were also exciting games and free merchandise for visitors who attended the event.

"There are so many benefits from this event, especially for students who have just graduated. ACESFA can be a motivation to find internships and jobs. In addition, the companies that open tenants are also diverse, so that we can choose companies according to our interests. So, you will get many benefits by coming to this event," said Ratu Ayu, one of the participants of the 38th ACESFA 2023.
