UNAIR NEWS - Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) graduated 1,069 of its best graduates on the second day of the 241st Graduation Period at Airlangga Convention Center (ACC) MERR-C Campus on Sunday (3/3/2024). Smiles and pride were seen on all the graduates. All their struggles and hard work have finally paid off. UNAIR Alumni Association (IKA) advised the graduates to maintain the good reputation of the university.

Representative of IKA UNAIR Central Board (PP) Arfa Darojati SSos MMed Kom said that the graduates' struggle to complete their studies was not an easy matter. All obstacles and obstacles will always be there. However, at this moment, the graduates have shown their discouragement with even difficult circumstances.

"I am sure that every student has obstacles and obstacles that hit them. Not a few students have to fight desperately to complete their studies. Today is proof that you are GREAT, able to struggle until you graduate today," he said.

UNAIR's reputation
Arfa said, in the last ten years, UNAIR's reputation has continued to improve. The improvement is not the last point, but all levels of the university will strive to continue to improve the reputation and achievements of the university. As well as, bringing benefits to all levels, especially UNAIR alumni.

He added that UNAIR's reputation undeniably has a big impact on alumni. The good reputation can be a doping for UNAIR alumni to contribute more and take part in their fields.

Arfa also said that he currently holds a position in one of the state-owned enterprises in Indonesia. He hoped that UNAIR alumni can show their existence and contribution in various well-known companies and other government agencies.

"Keep in mind, a university's reputation is seen from its alumni. Of course, the defense of UNAIR's reputation is in the hands of graduates. Hopefully, the graduates can maintain and continue to bring a good name for UNAIR wherever they are," he added.

Appreciation and Full Support
Representing IKA UNAIR Chairperson Khofifah Indar Parawansa, Arfa said that her pride was also felt by the chairperson of IKA UNAIR. He will give full support to UNAIR alumni to develop after their studies. Hopefully, they can contribute to the nation and state.

Not to forget, Arfa offered prayers for the graduates to be successful in their future career paths. And bring a positive impact to UNAIR alma mater.
