UNAIR NEWS - The fourth batch of Internship and Certified Independent Study (MSIB) is one of the Independent Campus programs by the Ministry of Education, Culture, and Research. Therefore, the Directorate of Career Development, Entrepreneurship Incubation, and Alumni (DPKKA UNAIR), through Airlangga Career Club, held a webinar to socialize MSIB opportunities at PT Arkatama Multi Solusindo.

The webinar was held on Tuesday(17/1/2023) titled Percepat Digital Transformation di Indonesia bersama Kaum Milenial. Fauziah SE MM was present in the webinar as PIC MSIB PT Arkatama Multi Solusindo.

Starting the webinar, Fauziah explained that PT Arkatama Multi Solusindo is a company with experience in information and technology consulting services.

"We (PT Arkatama Multi Solusindo, ed) have partners and clients ranging from government agencies to private companies," she explained.

MSIB Fourth Batch

"PT Arkatama Multi Solusindo is a partner for the fourth batch of MSIB. Therefore, a certified internship program and a certified independent study program were opened," explained Fauziah. The entire MSIB program at PT Arkatama Multi Solusindo lasts five months, from February 16, 2021, to June 30, 2023.

Fauziah explained that the learning method used in MSIB at PT Arkatama Multi Solusindo is Project Based Learning. Therefore, the selection process for the certified internship program consists of administrative selection, skill selection, interview selection, and diversity selection. At the same time, the certified independent study program consists of executive selection, skill selection, and diversity selection.

Certified Internship

The positions opened for the certified internship program at PT Arkatama Multi Solusindo are Front and Developer, as many as five people, Full Stack Web Developer, as many as 16 people, Documentator and Software Tester as many as 8 people, and Digital Marketer, as many as 20 people. These positions will later conduct offline internship activities at the PT Arkatama Multi Solusindo office for eight hours daily from Monday to Friday. 

Activities that will be carried out during the internship are working on projects, receiving guidance from mentors, receiving enrichment material, sharing sessions every two weeks, and monthly evaluations.

"Of course from the internship there will be benefits obtained, namely a certificate comparable to 20 credits, living expenses, and career possibilities at PT Arkatama Multi Solusindo," explained Fauziah.

Certified Independent Study

Finally, Fauziah explained that the schemes opened for the certified independent study program are Digital Marketer, as many as 300 people and Full Stack Web Developer, as many as 200 people. Each scheme will conduct activities through live sessions twice a week, studying modules, watching teaching videos, doing assignments, getting guidance from mentors, sharing sessions every two weeks, and monthly evaluations.
