UNAIR Introduces QEP Internship Program Opportunities Tuesday, 08 August 2023 12:57

The Directorate of Career Development, Entrepreneurship Incubation, and Alumni (DPKKA) at Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) is actively supporting career prospects for students and alumni. This time, DPKKA UNAIR organized a webinar to introduce internship opportunities with Quantum Edukasindo Paradigma (QEP) on Thursday (20/7/2023).

In the webinar titled "Get Ahead in Your Career with QEP," DPKKA featured Karina Desiyama SPd as a speaker. She is the Training and Development Division Head at PT Quantum Edukasional Paradigma.

Karina explained that QEP is a company engaged in services, particularly focused on online work systems. The company was established in 2000 under the name Gloria Edukasindo before rebranding as QEP in 2016.

"QEP is a company providing online IQ testing services, interest and talent assessments, study orientation, assessments and psychodiagnostics, job promotions, career guidance, as well as training and human resources development," explained Karina.

Internship and Learning Opportunities at QEP

This year, QEP is offering opportunities for students to intern and become part of the company. Karina mentioned four divisions that students can choose for their internship at QEP.

"There's assessment and counseling, then training development, digital multimedia, and also sales marketing," she noted.

Karina further elaborated that several benefits will be provided to students who become part of QEP. In addition to converting the internship into credit units, QEP also offers students the chance to learn not only from a single division.

QEP provides interns with the opportunity to learn and gain experience in various divisions, not just their own. So, the knowledge and skills that students acquire can be more diverse and extensive," she said.

Benefits of Interning at QEP

Through interning at QEP, Karina continued, students gain benefits beyond credit conversion, knowledge, and experience. QEP also offers facilities in the form of free QEP products, including four certified public classes and two career coaching sessions.

"Four certified public classes can be obtained when students complete assignments and fully participate. Additionally, there are two career coaching sessions, one at the beginning and one at the end of the internship. This way, students can understand their progress from the beginning to the end of the internship," she explained.

During the six-month internship, participants won't be directly assigned to divisions. In the first three months, participants will receive training and engage in roleplays. Only in the fourth to sixth months will participants work in their respective divisions.

"Participants will receive training and roleplays to prepare them to engage with clients in QEP activities," Karina added.

At the end of the webinar, Karina mentioned that those interested in interning at QEP can contact DPKKA UNAIR or directly reach out to PT QEP. Students can also visit the website www.qep.co.id for more information.

"So, you can contact QEP through their public relations number, email, and also visit their website and social media," she concluded.
