Graduated 777 Graduates, UNAIR Rector: There's Still a Long Way to Go Friday, 29 December 2023 09:15

Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) once again graduated its best students in a graduation ceremony that took place on Saturday, December 2, 2023. In this 235th graduation period, 777 students were officially inaugurated as graduates.

UNAIR Rector Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nasih SE MT Ak did not forget to congratulate all graduates on their graduation. In addition, he also reminded them that this graduation is not the final line of their journey considering there is still a long way to go.

"In addition to congratulations, of course, we remind you that the challenges ahead are still very long, still very extraordinary. Therefore, let us face all our challenges with the best spirit and with the character of Airlangga Knights," said Prof. Nasih.

Key to Success

To face future challenges, Prof. Nasih then emphasized to all graduates not to think about stopping learning. According to him, knowledge is the main key to be able to win all the challenges and competition that will come in the future.

"Whoever wants life in this world to be happy, successful, and successful, then achieve it with knowledge. Whoever wants his life in the hereafter to be successful, happy, peaceful, then achieve it also with knowledge," he said.

"Then, whoever wants to get success, success, peace, happiness, either in this world or in the hereafter, the key is science," he continued.

Lifelong Learning

To gain all that knowledge, continued Prof. Nasih, there is no better way than lifelong learning. For him, learning becomes an unlimited process considering that everything in the world has wisdom and can be an object of learning.

"To be able to get knowledge, there is no other key or way except by learning, learning, and learning. Lifelong learning, learning from anywhere, learning from anyone, learning under any circumstances, and learning at any time," he added.

In a world of constant change, a person can't move forward without adjusting himself to all these changes. Thus, he once again reminded all graduates to study for the success of the adjustment.

"Therefore, once again the key is to continue to learn, learn, learn because the world never stops. The world continues to change, the world continues to experience differences, and the challenges of course also experience differences compared to our current challenges," concluded Prof. Nasih.
