FKH UNAIR Inaugurates 115 New Veterinarians Wednesday, 13 March 2024 12:27

UNAIR NEWS - Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FKH) Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) held the inauguration and oath-taking of veterinarians on Tuesday (27/02/2024). The event which took place at Airlangga Convention Center MERR-C Campus was opened by Prof. Dr. Mirni Lamid drh MP as the Dean of Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Universitas Airlangga.

Prof. Dr. Nanik Hidayati as the Chief Executive of the Inauguration and Oath Taking explained that in this 170th period, there were 115 new veterinarians who took their oath under their respective religious scriptures.

 

The First Step of a Professional Career
Dr. Muhammad Rizki Gilang Ramadhan as the representative of the new veterinarians said that this inauguration and oath-taking activity is the first step of their professional career as a veterinarian. As the beginning of a career that they have been building for a long time, he also reminded all his colleagues to always make professional ethics, honesty, care, empathy, and cooperation to always provide services to animals and their owners.

"This inauguration and oath-taking is the first step of our journey as veterinarians with dedication and high integrity. After approximately six years of education, today my friends and I stand before everyone as a new generation of veterinarians who are ready to serve the community," he said.

 

Parents' Impressions and Happiness
As parents, they should be happy to see their children being inaugurated and taking the oath as a veterinarian. This was also conveyed by Cesaria Eka Yulianti Sri Hastuti ST MT as a representative of the new veterinarian parents in her speech.

"We as parents are very happy to be able to gather today to see our children being inaugurated and taking their oath. With all the struggles they have done, finally came this day where they officially became a veterinarian. In addition, knowing that they now have their own market and client even before they take their oath adds to our pride and happiness as parents," he said.

In closing, he also congratulated all veterinarians who were inaugurated today because the burden they carried for six years has been released with today's inauguration and oath-taking. He also reminded all new veterinarians to always be grateful and not to be complacent because the profession they chose will continue to develop and follow the conditions of the times, thus requiring them to continue learning.
