UNAIR NEWS - Graduate School of Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) held a routine forum. Attending the forum was the Minister of Agrarian and Spatial Planning (ATR) and Head of the National Land Agency (BPN), Major Inf Ret H Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono M Sc MPA MA. The forum on Human Resource Development Towards Indonesia 2045 was held on Friday (03/15/2024). The forum took place hybridly through Zoom Meeting and online at the Graduate School Building, Dharmawangsa-B Campus, UNAIR.

HR Structuring
In his presentation, AHY revealed that his focus as Minister of ATR-BPN was to realize justice. The reason is, many people are victims, one of which is the victim of the land mafia. "Our current focus at ATR-BPN is to realize legal certainty and land rights for the community and structuring human resources. Incidentally, the Ministry of ATR / BPN has also just won an HR structuring award from the Ministry of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB)," said AHY.

This achievement, for AHY, is the first step to realizing bureaucratic reform through structuring and empowering human resources. AHY then said that the standard of good human resources is to have capacity and integrity.

AHY continued to say that the key to the advancement of a country can be seen from the quality of human resources. "To achieve our aspirations as a developed and prosperous country, we must start from improving the quality of human resources. The quality of human resources can be measured by good mastery of 21st century knowledge and balanced with integrity," said AHY.

UNAIR's Important Role
Furthermore, AHY said that PSDM Universitas Airlangga has an important role in realizing good human resource management for Indonesia 2045. Not without reason, this can happen because PSDM UNAIR produces cadres and public servants who contribute directly to the state. "The form of 'the state is present for the community' is through public services. Therefore, in addition to improving human resources, leadership must also be effective," explained AHY.

AHY continued, with the many regional heads who are studying at UNAIR, it has indirectly contributed to becoming a real 'school of leadership'. "I am grateful and happy to have chosen PSDM UNAIR as my doctoral destination or the culmination of my education. I hope that in the future UNAIR can continue to contribute directly to producing national leaders and become a real 'school of leadership'," concluded AHY.
