UNAIR NEWS - The 243rd graduation ceremony of Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) was an emotional moment, especially for the graduate representative Mimi Azmita. Because this momentum is a historic moment for her after various rejections on various campuses to become a big family of UNAIR alumni.

“Thank you to all my friends for always trying and never giving up,” she said.

Mimi also said that she was proud to be part of the alumni of the top four best campuses in Indonesia and 308 best in the world. Having failed various campus entrance exams, Mimi paid for all her rejections by proving her achievements. Not only that, she was also named the best graduate.

“It is an honor for me personally that after being rejected by seven campuses and various independent exams, I am now a family of alumni of the best universities,” she explained.

This must be balanced with hard work and never giving up. According to him, failure is not the end of the whole process but the beginning to get better things. He believes that as long as he is still trying, God will accompany him in achieving success.

Invite Alumni to Continue to Dedicate
Mimi also told all graduates to continue the whole process in pursuing knowledge and processing in the community. She emphasized that all graduates can benefit the wider community.

“We continue our struggle in our respective fields and continue to go higher and have an impact not for ourselves but for the wider community,” she said.

Furthermore, Mimi also encouraged all graduates not to give up and continue to be enthusiastic in the process. Mimi also said that all graduates should bring the values of the spirit of excellence with morality to contribute to a more advanced Indonesia.

“Continue to accompany the process by bringing the teachings of each religion and culture. Continue to be a person who is able to overcome problems critically and solutively,” she explained.

He invited all graduates to give proof to all figures who have contributed to making them a big family of UNAIR alumni. “Prove they will know our names, witness our names, read our work to build this nation,” he concluded.
